Ingredients:

Peanut Butter
Ghee/Butter/Coconut Oil
Honey
Cocoa Powder
Sea Salt
Vanilla Essence
Oats
Shredded Coconut (Optional)

How to make it?

  1. Add in peanut butter, honey, salt and butter in a saucepan to heat it. Stir continuously until it melts and to avoid sticking.
  2. Furthermore, add vanilla essence and cocoa powder. Continue to stir.
  3. Add the oats along with shredded coconut and mix them well. The butter should sip inside the oats to keep a creamier taste.
  4. Take the saucepan off the heat and put one tablespoon of the mixture onto a butter paper. Continue until the cookie mixture is used up.

Apple pie is a classic. Who would have thought there would be a hearty and healthy version for it? With the goodness of dates and nuts along with a whole wheat crust, you have a decadent pie awaiting you.

Ingredients:

Whole wheat flour
Salt
Coconut Oil/Ghee
Cold Water
Cinnamon
Dates
Apples
Cornstarch
Apple Juice (divided)

How to make it?

For the pie crust:

  1. Cut coconut oil/ghee into flour and salt mix. Add the mixture into a processor and grind till you get a wet sand texture.
  2. Add ice-cold water and grind again until you get a thick pasty mixture.
  3. You are good to go if it can hold its shape. Furthermore, make a dough out of it.
  4. Sprinkle dry flour and roll out your dough using a rolling pin.
  5. Transferring it to a pie plate, crimp the edges to give the shape to the pie.
  6. Bake firmly till light brown.

For the filling:

  1. Peel, core, slice the apples and dice the dates
  2. Add apples, cinnamon, dates and apple juice into a cooker
  3. Moreover, thicken the apple with cornstarch. As you are done with the process, you can pour it directly on to the cooled crust!

  5. Spread the yoghurt on the crust and decorate the top with sliced fruits.
